Wintershall Dea Norge AS has been granted a permit by the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) to drill an appraisal well in Norwegian Sea production license 836 S.
Well 6406/3-12 S will be drilled by the Transocean Norge semisubmersible drilling rig in September
Wintershall is operator of the license with 40% interest. Partners are Equinor Energy AS (30%), and DNO Norge AS (30%).
