Colonial Pipeline projects service to all markets by mid-day

Colonial Pipeline is delivering refined products to most of the markets it services, the company said this morning, projecting a return to service for all markets by mid-day. Colonial initiated the restart at about 5 p.m., May 12, 2021.

Colonial Pipeline is delivering refined products to most of the markets it services, the company said this morning, projecting a return to service for all markets by mid-day. Colonial initiated the restart at about 5 p.m., May 12, 2021.

It will take several days for the product delivery supply chain to return to normal, with Colonial cautioning that some markets may experience, or continue to experience, intermittent service interruptions during the start-up period. Colonial ships as much as 2.5 million b/d of gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel.

Colonial shut down operations May 7 following a cyberattack.
