Taproot adds to DJ basin acreage dedication

Taproot Rockies Midstream LLC, an affiliate of Taproot Energy Partners LLC, Denver, executed a long-term acreage dedication for crude oil and produced water gathering and transportation services for 60,000 acres in the northeast extension of the DJ basin from Mallard Exploration. 

Taproot’s existing Baja System and soon-to-be-completed Rattlesnake expansion include over 110 miles of crude oil, produced water, and freshwater pipelines. Mallard’s acreage position is near existing Bison Oil & Gas, Verdad Resources, and Bonanza Creek dedicated acreage and increases Taproot’s total dedicated acreage to over 200,000 gross acres (OGJ Online, Sept. 17, 2019).
