Atlantic, Gulf & Pacific Co. (AG&P) has awarded Acteon Group Ltd.’s Acteon Integrated Solutions (AIS) a contract for local transportation and installation of jacket structures for the LNG berth at AG&P’s 3-million tonne/year Philippines LNG (PLNG) regasification terminal under construction in Batangas Bay.

AIS will be responsible for full construction of the jetty and all marine works, except anything to do with the transportation of LNG. Project scope includes transportation and installation of approach trestles, mooring and berthing dolphins, and associated furniture such as walkways, fenders, and mooring hooks.

Earlier this year, AG&P awarded McDermott International business unit CB&I Storage Solutions a contract for engineering, procurement, and construction of a 60,000-cu m full containment storage tank at the terminal (OGJ Online, Apr. 15, 2021). Mechanical completion of the tank is expected in third-quarter 2023. Two additional tanks are also planned for the site.
