APA promotes Rayphole to VP, chief accounting officer, controller

Rayphole succeeds Rebecca Hoyt as chief accounting officer and controller. Hoyt announced her retirement earlier this year after 33 years of service with the company.

APA Corp., Houston, has promoted Robert P. Rayphole to vice-president, chief accounting officer, and controller, effective Nov. 15, the operator said in a release Nov. 10.

Rayphole succeeds Rebecca Hoyt as chief accounting officer and controller. Hoyt announced her retirement earlier this year after 33 years of service with the company.

Rayphole will lead APA’s Accounting department, providing global oversight of the company’s accounting organization and overseeing financial reporting, accounting operations and compliance with US GAAP and SEC requirements.

Rayphole joined APA in 2002. He was named assistant controller in 2011. Prior to joining APA, Rayphole was an audit manager at Arthur Andersen LLP.
