EQT appoints Knop to succeed Khani as CFO

EQT Corp. has named Jeremy Knop as chief financial officer. Knop, who previously served as executive vice-president of corporate development, will assume the new role July 24, 2023.

Knop succeeds David Khani as part of a transition plan noted by the company in February. Khani was named EQT CFO in January 2020 (OGJ Online, Jan. 3, 2020).

In his previous role at EQT, Knop was responsible for leading EQT's mergers and acquisitions strategy since joining the company in January 2021. Prior to joining EQT, he was a principal at The Blackstone Group focused on debt, mezzanine and private equity investing across the energy industry.
