W&T Offshore Inc., Houston, has appointed Sameer Parasnis to the position of executive vice-president and chief financial officer, effective July 3, 2023.
Parasnis has 25 years of financial and operational experience. He has advised companies in the oil and gas and energy transition industry on equity capital markets, debt capital markets, and strategic mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining W&T, he served as managing director of Stifel Financial Corp.’s Energy & Energy Transition team in Houston.
