Ecopetrol appoints interim CEO

Ecopetrol SA has appointed Alberto Consuegra Granger as interim chief executive officer of the company, effective Apr. 1, 2023. He will serve an interim chief executive until a successor is named.

Ecopetrol SA has appointed Alberto Consuegra Granger as interim chief executive officer of the company, effective Apr. 1, 2023. He will serve an interim chief executive until a successor is named.

As noted in January, the company’s current chief executive, Felipe Bayón Pardo, will lead the company until Mar. 31 (OGJ Online, Jan. 27, 2023).

Alberto Consuegra Granger has over 30 years of experience in the energy sector and joined the Ecopetrol Group in 2016 as vice-president of supply and services. He has served as interim chief executive officer of Cenit Transporte y Logística de Hidrocarburos SAS and is currently chief operating officer and alternate legal representative of Ecopetrol.
