Canes Midstream LLC , Dallas, has named Mike Hicks as chief operating officer, and Dan Westcott as chief financial officer.
Hicks holds nearly 35 years of natural gas gathering and processing experience. Most recently, he served as president of Superior Pipeline Co., where he was responsible for the performance of natural gas gathering and processing facilities in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
Westcott holds nearly 20 years of energy experience, including 8 years of executive experience at Legacy Reserves, Midland, where he first served as executive vice-president and chief financial officer, then president, and finally as chief executive officer.
Canes operates strategic midstream assets located in the southern Midland basin recently acquired from Cogent Midstream LLC, including 520 MMcfd of processing capacity, over 800 miles of pipelines, 42 compressor stations, a crude oil gathering system, and acreage dedications from a group of Midland basin-focused producers (OGJ Online, May 25, 2022).
