Point Energy Partners adds to Delaware basin management team
Point Energy Partners, Fort Worth, Tex., has made changes to management as the private company plans to accelerate development on its Delaware basin assets in Texas.
The Vortus Investments-backed company—which has assembled over 15,000 gross operated acres in Loving and Ward counties, Tex.—promoted Jay Brenner to senior vice-president of operations and added Joel Acosta as senior vice-president of operations and Cameron Boyd as vice-president of operations.
Brenner will lead completions and production optimization, Acosta will lead drilling and construction, and Boyd will lead facilities and field operations.
Brenner joined Point Energy in 2021 as vice-president of operations. He previously led completions teams for RKI Exploration & Production, WPX Energy, and Devon Energy.
Acosta joins Point Energy with over 16 years of drilling and operations experience in the Delaware basin. Most recently, he was vice-president of operations for Crescent Consulting.
Boyd joins Point Energy with over 18 years of experience in engineering roles focused on facilities, process engineering, material science and technical safety engineering.
