EPIC appoints Freed to succeed Mezey as CEO

EPIC Midstream Holdings LP has appointed Brian Freed to succeed Phil Mezey as chief executive officer, with Mezey becoming non-executive chairman. Freed joins the company’s board of directors.

EPIC Midstream Holdings LP has appointed Brian Freed to succeed Phil Mezey as chief executive officer, with Mezey becoming non-executive chairman. Freed joins the company’s board of directors.

Freed has served as EPIC’s president since July 2019 (OGJ Online, July 29, 2019). Prior to joining EPIC, he most recently served as the senior vice-president, midstream and marketing, of Apache Corp.

EPIC, formed in 2017, operates the EPIC Crude Oil Pipeline and the EPIC NGL Pipeline that span some 700 miles servicing the Delaware, Midland, and Eagle Ford basins.
