Lundin Energy has appointed Nick Walker as president and chief executive officer, effective Jan. 1, 2021. Walker succeeds Alex Schneiter, who decided to step down from the position.
Walker has been chief operating officer of Lundin Energy since 2015. He holds over 30 years of industry experience.
Schneiter has offered to remain on the board as a non-executive director and remain involved in an advisory capacity with the wider Lundin Group of companies. He has held the position of chief executive officer since 2015, having been with the business since its inception in 2001.
