Masahiro Fujita has been named representative director, president, and chief executive officer of Japan Petroleum Exploration Co. Ltd.
He succeeds Hideichi Okada, who is retiring for reasons related to health and will become special advisor.
Fujita has been representative director, executive vice-president, and assistant of president, special mission.
