Ashutosh Karnatak has become chairman and managing director of state-owned natural gas and NGL transporter GAIL (India) Ltd. He has more than 37 years of experience in the hydrocarbons industry and will serve concurrently as director (projects), a position he has held since March 2014.
Karnatak succeeds B.C. Tripathi, who became GAIL CMD in August 2009.
