Shell expands contract with Audubon to US Gulf of Mexico assets
Shell plc has let an exclusive contract to Audubon Companies for engineering and procurement on its brownfield topside projects portfolio in the US Gulf of Mexico.
Audubon, in a release May 8, said as of April, the company is serving as Shell’s engineering and procurement provider for offshore brownfield topside projects up to $100 million total installed cost. The contract includes all Shell deepwater assets in the US Gulf.
Audubon will focus on operations, maintenance, and upgrade projects to improve energy production and extend productive life. Having performed engineering work for several of Shell’s US Gulf platforms beginning in 2022, Audubon said it is “well-positioned to support the remaining assets as a whole-portfolio service provider.”
