Argentina's push to privatize and attract more foreign investment to its petroleum sector continues to gather momentum. The Argentine government plans by yearend 1992 to sell unprofitable assets of Yacimientos Petroliferos Fiscales, then sell as much as 50% of the state oil company through an international stock offering.
