Baytex Energy Corp., Calgary, has agreed to sell certain of its Viking assets at Forgan and Plato in southwest Saskatchewan, effective Oct. 1, 2023, to an undisclosed buyer for $153.8 million (Can.).
Production from the assets is about 4,000 boe/d (100% light and medium crude oil).
The deal is expected to close before yearend 2023.
