ONE-Dyas Norge farms in to Nova oil field

ONE-Dyas Norge AS, Amsterdam, has agreed to acquire a 10% interest in Nova oil field, approved for development in the Norwegian North Sea, from Cairn Energy for $59.5 million plus working capital adjustments.

Operator Wintershall Dea GMBH received government approval last year to develop Nova, 120 km northwest of Bergen, as a subsea tie-back to the Gjoa platform operated by Neptune Energy (OGJ Online, Oct. 2, 2018). Production is to start in 2021.

Interests after the transaction in PL418/PL418B will be Wintershall Dea, 45%; Spirit Energy, 20%; Edison, 15%; and Cairn and ONE-Dyas, 10% each. Interests in PL378 will be Wintershall Dea, 76%; Cairn, 12%; and ONE-Dyas, 12%.
