Venezuela considers petrochemical corporation

Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez has announced plans to create a petrochemical corporation as soon as possible.

HOUSTON, Dec. 6 -- Venezuelan President Hugo Ch ávez has announced plans to create a petrochemical corporation as soon as possible.

Chavez said the corporation would develop the Venezuelan petrochemical business and complement manufacturing joint agreements recently signed with Iran and Russia, OPEC News Agency reported. He offered no further details.
