Petróleo Brasileiro SA (Petrobras) has let a master services agreement for subsea services to TechnipFMC PLC to provide life-of-field services to support Petrobras’s installed base offshore Brazil.
The contract covers installation, intervention, and maintenance of both equipment and tooling, as well as technical support for subsea umblicals, risers, and flowlines. Services will be supplied from TechnipFMC’s base in Macaé, Brazil.
The 3-year contract has a 2-year extension option.
In January, Petrobras let a contract to TechnipFMC for flexible and rigid pipe, umbilicals, pipeline end terminals, rigid jumpers, umbilical termination assemblies, and a mooring system for Búzios 6 field (module 7) (OGJ Online Jan. 25, 2022).
