ONGC, Equinor sign MoU covering various energy verticals

India’s ONGC signed a memorandum of understanding with Equinor for collaboration and partnership in energy verticals including upstream exploration and production, midstream, downstream, and clean energy options.

India’s Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (ONGC) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Equinor ASA for collaboration and partnership in energy verticals including upstream exploration and production, midstream, downstream, and clean energy options including carbon capture utilization sequestration (CCUS).

No details on specific works were provided. The MoU is valid for 2 years.

Equinor opened an office in New Delhi, India in 2019.
