Petróleo Brasileiro SA (Petrobras) is restarting the process to divest its interest in Tartaruga field offshore Brazil and has released a new teaser.
The previous process reached the binding phase but was not concluded.
Tartaruga field lies on the northern coast of the state of Sergipe, in the city of Pirambu, in shallow waters of the Sergipe-Alagoas Basin. The field wells were drilled directionally, from the base in the onshore portion of the ring-fence. Average 2021 production was about 222 b/d of light oil (37º API) and 4,660 cu m/day of associated gas.
Petrobras holds a 25% stake in the field. Maha Energy Brasil Ltda is operator with 75%.
