Mubadala Petroleum lets rig contract extension

Mubadala Petroleum Thailand has awarded a contract extension to Valaris Ltd. for use of the Valaris JU-115 jack up rig offshore Thailand. Beginning around first-quarter 2022, the extension is expected to last about 240 days.

The rig is now expected to be under contract through September 2022.
