Petrobras lets seismic contract to Shearwater GeoServices

Petroleo Brasileiro SA (Petrobras) has let a contract to Shearwater GeoServices Holding AS deepwater ocean bottom node seismic acquisition for Tupi and Iracema projects in the Santos basin offshore Brazil.

The surveys will begin in this year’s third quarter and are expected to last 9 months. Shearwater will use the SW Diamond and one additional vessel to execute the survey covering a total of 2,882 sq km.
