UK: Bridge awarded Southern Gas basin license

Bridge Energy ASA has been awarded Block 49/21c in the UK North Sea in the 26th seaward round.

Bridge Energy ASA has been awarded Block 49/21c in the UK North Sea in the 26th seaward round.

The award is for a traditional license with a 4-year initial term. The award carries a commitment to reprocess 150 km of 3D seismic. A decision on drilling a well is required by the end of the fourth year of the initial term.

Surrounding the block are Leman, Vulcan, and Valiant fields in the UK Southern Gas basin.
