Serinus Energy PLC has started a 10-day, 105-km 2D acquisition program in the Satu Mare concession in northwest Romania.
This seismic program is being shot north of Moftinu gas field, providing additional seismic coverage over the company's highest ranked exploration prospects to augment existing legacy 2D seismic in the area and infill the existing coverage.
Once processed, the company expects the new seismic data will de-risk identified prospects and allow it to select optimum drilling locations for the year’s three-well drilling program (Ghenci, Moftinu North, Domanesti Northset) to begin in the third quarter.
