Equinor granted North Sea drilling permit

Equinor Energy AS has been granted a permit by the Norwegian Offshore Directorate to drill in the North Sea.

Exploration well 25/7-13 will be drilled in production license 782 S with the COSLInnovator semisubmersible drilling unit beginning in March 2026.

Equinor is operator of the license with 60% interest. Aker BP holds the remaining 40%.
