ADNOC awards drilling services contract to Weatherford

Abu Dhabi National Oil Co. (ADNOC) has let a 5-year framework agreement to Weatherford International for directional drilling and logging-while-drilling services.

The contract is currently by the service provider at over $400 million. ADNOC has an option to extend the contract for an additional 2 years, Weatherford said in a release Sept. 12.
