UKOG granted work extension for Horse Hill license

UK Oil & Gas Plc (UKOG) received a 1-year extension for the work program on license PEDL137 in the Weald basin onshore UK from the North Sea Transition Authority (formerly the Oil and Gas Authority).
The license contains Horse Hill oil field near Gatwick Airport outside London and its underlying Kimmeridge oil pool.
UKOG plans to drill a second Horse Hill Kimmeridge well with drilling expected to begin prior to Sept. 30, 2023.
UKOG is operator at PEDL137 (85.635%).
