The well—the fourth exploration well to be drilled in production license (PL) 006 C—will be drilled about 15 km northeast of Ekofisk field by the Borgland Dolphin drilling rig following plugging and abandonment of wellbores on Oselvar field before shutting down for DNO in PL 274.
DNO Norge AS is operator of the license (85%) with partner Aker BP ASA (15%).
