Inpex subsidiary granted production concession for Onshore Block 4 Abu Dhabi

JEL has discovered multiple conventional oil, condensate, and gas reservoirs within the block following drilling operations conducted in 2021.

Inpex Corp. subsidiary JODCO Exploration Ltd. (JEL) was awarded a production concession for Onshore Block 4 in Abu Dhabi.

The award came from the Supreme Council for Financial and Economic Affairs (SCFEA) of Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Inpex said in a release June 12. 

JEL has discovered multiple conventional oil, condensate, and gas reservoirs within the block following drilling operations conducted in 2021.

JEL is operator Onshore Block 4 (40%) with partner ADNOC (60%). The two companies will jointly advance development and production activities. Japan Organization for Metals and Energy Security (JOGMEC) holds a 49% share in JEL.
