flare.IQ shines bright after featuring in important North Sea Transition Authority report
We’re proud to share that flare.IQ features in an important new report, Emission Reduction Technology Roadmap by the Net Zero Technology Centre and the North Sea Transition Authority. The report highlights adoptable emissions reduction technologies, including flare.IQ, aimed at advancing decarbonization efforts across the upstream oil and gas sector. The report is designed to support operators in the development and implementation of emissions reduction action plans.
flare.IQ has been adopted by operators across the globe, including bp, as they look to reduce emissions from flaring operations. By using flare.IQ technology and its advanced analytics platform, operators can pull critical information about their flare systems, including temperature, pressure, vent gas velocities, to calculate the optimum levels of flare performance and ensure 98%+ high-efficiency flare combustion and therefore minimize emissions.
Our Vice President, Colin Hehir said: “A key element in Baker Hughes’ emissions abatement portfolio, flare.IQ is easy to deploy, cost effective and has a proven track record in optimizing flare operations and significantly reducing methane emissions. Everyone at Panametrics should take pride in the impact of flare.IQ and its growing role in the energy transition. We are pleased to see flare.IQ included in this important new report, enhancing its position as a leading emissions abatement solution in the industry.”
flare.IQ is a full-stream flare solution based on a well-proven ultrasonic flare flow measurement technology. It covers everything including assisted flares associated with downstream petrochemical, refinery flare operations and some of the midstream LNG facilities, all the way to unassisted flares associated primarily seen with upstream operations.
