Bridger, Seahorse pipelines announce Williston open season

Bridger Pipeline and Seahorse Pipeline are holding an open season for joint tariff crude oil transportation service from Williston basin and local tariff transportation service from Guernsey, Wyo., to Midcontinent and Texas destinations.

Bridger Pipeline LLC and Seahorse Pipeline LLC, a subsidiary of Tallgrass Energy LP, are holding an open season for joint tariff crude oil transportation service from Williston basin and local tariff transportation service from Guernsey, Wyo., to Midcontinent and Texas destinations.

Capacity will be determined based upon results of the open season, with service anticipated to start June 1, 2021.

Bridger, Belle Fourche Pipeline Co., and Butte Pipe Line Co. earlier in 2021 held an open season seeking commitments for crude transportation on expansions to portions of their respective pipelines systems. Expanded capacity would run from receipt points on Bridger’s and Belle Fourche’s pipeline systems in Dunn, McKenzie, Golden Valley, Billings, and Stark Counties, ND, to the Belle Fourche Guernsey hub in Platte County, Wyo., and Osage Station in Weston County, Wyo. 

The open season began Jan. 29, 2021 and was scheduled to close Feb. 28, 2021.

Bridger, Belle Fourche, and Butte, all owned by True Cos., provide crude oil pipeline transportation primarily in the Bakken, Willison basin, and Powder River basin regions. Bridger owns and operates 1,916 miles of gathering and trunk line. Belle Fourche owns and operates 3,011 miles of gathering and trunk line, and Butte 364 miles of gathering and trunk
