TC Energy Corp. awarded six contractors work to execute pipeline construction across 800 miles in three states on its Keystone XL pipeline in 2021. The companies awarded contracts include:
- Barnard Pipeline (Bozeman, Mont.)
- Associated Pipeline (Houston)
- Michels (Brownsville, Wisc.)
- Precision Pipeline (Eau Claire, Wisc.)
- Price Gregory International (Katy, Tex.)
- US Pipeline (Houston)
The total contract value is more than US$1.6 billion.
Work started in April 2020 on the 1,179-mile, 830,000-b/d pipeline from Hardisty, Alta., to Steele City, Neb., but was halted by a subsequent US Supreme Court ruling (OGJ Online, Oct. 23, 2020).
