SCM launches open season for Delaware basin crude line

SCM Crude has launched a binding open season for firm crude oil interstate gathering and transportation capacity on its proposed Delaware basin crude oil gathering pipeline system.

Salt Creek Midstream LLC subsidiary SCM Crude LLC has launched a binding open season for firm crude oil interstate gathering and transportation capacity on its proposed Delaware basin crude oil gathering pipeline system (OGJ Online, Oct. 3, 2018).

The line will be constructed and operated by SCM across multiple segments from various tank battery receipt points in New Mexico’s Eddy and Lea counties to SCM’s Wink and Orla terminals with interconnects to certain takeaway pipelines, including those with direct, long-haul transportation to the Midland and Corpus Christi areas in Texas.

The project’s final capacity will be determined by SCM in part based on the results of the open season.

The open season ends on Aug. 31.
