Woodside signs first long-term LNG supply deal with Turkish market

Woodside signed its first long-term LNG supply arrangement with the Turkish market in a deal with Türkiye’s Boru Hatları ile Petrol Taşıma AŞ (BOTAŞ).

Under the agreement—a conversion of a non-binding Heads of Agreement signed in September—Woodside will supply BOTAŞ a total of about 0.5 million tonnes/year (tpy) of LNG for up to 9 years, beginning in 2030.

The LNG will be sourced primarily from Woodside’s three-train, 16.5 million tpy Louisiana LNG project under construction in Calcasieu Parish, La.
