Chevron Australia has resumed full production at the Gorgon LNG plant in Western Australia with the May 29 restart of a production train that had been offline since late April, according to various media outlets.

Located on Barrow Island, the Gorgon project comprises a three-train, 15.6 million tpy LNG plant and a domestic gas plant with the capacity to supply 300 terajoules/day of gas to Western Australia.

A mechanical issue with a turbine affected Train 2. The other two trains and the gas plant were unaffected.
