Hanseatic Energy Hub GMBH (HEH) has commissioned a consortium led by Técnicas Reunidas SA to develop its 13.3 billion cu m/year (bcmy) land-based LNG terminal at Stade, Germany. Consortium partners are FCC Group and Entrade GMBH.

The terminal, which is planned to enter service in 2027, will be designed to import ammonia as well. Final investment decision on the €1-billion ($1.1 billion) project is expected in third-quarter 2023.

EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG agreed last year to import 3 bcmy through HEH, with an option to switch to ammonia (OGJ Online, Dec. 9, 2022).

HEH is a consortium of Fluxys, Partners Group Holding AG, Buss Group GMBH & Co. KG, and Dow Chemical Co.
