Jemena hires pipeline subcontractors for Port Kembla LNG terminal

SGSP Assets (Jemena) is partnering with Zinfra, Nacap, and Wasco to build a 12-km underground pipeline which will transport up to 130 petajoules/year (~343 MMcfd) from Squadron Energy's LNG import terminal at Port Kembla to the Eastern Gas Pipeline.

SGSP Assets Pty. Ltd. (Jemena) is partnering with engineering and construction firms Zinfra Pty. Ltd., Nacap Pty. Ltd., and Wasco (Australia) Pty. Ltd. to build a 12-km underground pipeline which will transport up to 130 petajoules/year (~343 MMcfd) from Squadron Energy Pty. Ltd.’s LNG import terminal at Port Kembla to the Eastern Gas Pipeline (EGP).

Zinfra will provide project management and engineering services, Nacap will build the pipeline, and Wasco will deliver the Kembla Grange metering station, where this pipeline connects to EGP.

Squadron expects the terminal to be delivering gas to customers in New South Wales and Victoria states by end 2023.
