HOUSTON, Mar. 2
– Canoro Resources Ltd., Calgary, estimated start-up for early in the third quarter of 2010 of a condensate stripping and gas reinjection facility at Amguri field in Assam, northeastern India.

Canoro also said the Amguri-11 well flowed at the rate of 3.7 MMcfd of gas, 270 b/d of condensate, and 42 b/d of water from the previously untested Tertiary Mid-Barail formation. An extended production test is under way.

Canoro, which has 60% interest in Amguri, said the company and its partner have reinterpreted prestack depth migration data over the field and could be in a position to proceed with a drilling program late in calendar 2010.
