Chevron names McLachlan to succeed Schwarze as exploration leader

McLachlan will succeed Liz Schwarze, who is retiring in February. He will oversee Chevron's worldwide oil and gas exploration program.

Chevron Corp. has named Kevin McLachlan as vice-president of exploration, effective Nov. 1.

McLachlan will succeed Liz Schwarze, who is retiring in February after 36 years with the company.

McLachlan has experience in international oil and gas exploration, development, production, and carbon capture and storage (CCS) and has held senior leadership and executive roles at TotalEnergies SE, Murphy Oil Corp., Nexen Inc., and ExxonMobil Corp.
