Sloan will remain on the board, where he has served since August 2017, but step down from his roles as chair of the audit committee and member of the compensation committee.

He previously held various senior leadership positions over his 27-year career at BP PLC and Hess Corp., including senior vice-president of strategy, commercial, and new business development at Hess and president of BP Russia and several regional CFO roles at BP.
