Casas takes CFO role at Clayton Williams

Jaime R. Casas joined Clayton Williams Energy Inc., Midland, Tex., as senior vice-president and chief financial officer on Oct. 1.

Casas previously worked 4 years as vice-president and chief financial officer of the general partner of LRR Energy LP, a publicly traded exploration and production master limited partnership.

From 2009 to 2011, he served as vice-president and chief financial officer of Laredo Energy, a privately held oil and gas company. He also worked in the investment banking divisions of Credit Suisse and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette for 11 years.

The addition of Casas precedes the hiring of Patrick G. Cooke as senior vice-president and chief operating officer, which is effective Oct. 31 (OGJ Online, Oct. 25, 2016).
