Perenco SA has appointed Armel Simondin as the company’s chief executive officer, effective Mar. 15.
Armel currently serves as general manager of Perenco Cameroon. He joined Perenco in 2011.
Armel succeeds Benoît de la Fouchardiere, who has served as chief executive officer since 2016. Benoît de la Fouchardiere will join the board of Perenco Group and take the lead of Dixstone, an oil and gas services company and unit of Perenco Group.
