Perenco adds production offshore Congo

The wells collectively contributed a gross December production incremental of over 6,500 bo/d resulting in a gross 2025 exit production rate for the PNGF Sud field complex over 32,000 bo/d.

Perenco put five wells on production in PNGF Sud field offshore Congo, said PetroNor E&P ASA in a Jan. 12 release.

As of early December, the Axima jack-up rig completed the five infill wells in Tchibouela East, and all have been put on production. PetroNor said the wells exhibit 'excellent' reservoir properties and collectively have contributed a gross December production incremental above 6,500 bo/d resulting in a gross 2025 exit production rate for the PNGF Sud field complex of over 32,000 bo/d.

Perenco is operator of Tchendo II, Tchibuoela II, Tchibeli-Litanzi II licenses in PNGF Sud field (40%) with partners PetroNor (16.83%, indirect through part of Hemla E&P Congo interest), SNPC (15%), Hemla E&P Congo SA (20%), Continent Congo SA (10%), Africa Oil & Gas Corp. (10%) and Petro Congo (5%).
