Buru Energy Ltd., Perth, has appointed Thomas Nador as chief executive officer. Nador currently serves as group executive – development at Beach Energy, Perth. He is expected to assume his role no later than Sept. 1, 2022, the company said in a May 13 release.
In addition to the company’s day to day operations, Nador will focus on both the commercialization of the Rafael gas condensate discovery, and energy transition initiatives, including the GeoVault carbon capture and storage program (CCS), the company said in the release (OGJ Online, Nov. 23, 2021; Apr. 20, 2022).
Executive Chairman Eric Streitberg will continue in his current role as Nador assumes management of the company, according to the release. As part of the transition, Streitberg will assume the role of non-executive chair.
