Equinor makes exploration leadership change

Equinor has appointed Tore Løseth as acting executive vice president of exploration.

Equinor has appointed Tore Løseth as acting executive vice president of exploration. He will join the corporate executive committee in this capacity. Tim Dodson will step down as executive vice president exploration, a role he held since 2011, and take on the role as vice president strategy execution in global strategy and business development, beginning June 1.

Løseth joined Equinor in 2001. He previously served as senior vice-president exploration international onshore, which he has held since October 2017. Prior, he was senior vice-president exploration Gulf of Mexico, based in Houston. Løseth began at Equinor as a geologist, working with technology development and implementation as well as technical services for petroleum technology and exploration.
