PTTEP lets EPC contract for Kikeh field work offshore Malaysia

SLB OneSubsea will deliver subsea equipment for Malaysia's Kikeh field's second development phase, supporting PTTEP Sabah's offshore operations through 2026-2027.

PTTEP Sabah Oil Ltd. has let an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract to the SLB OneSubsea joint venture for Kikeh field offshore deepwater Malaysia.

As part of the EPC contract, SLB OneSubsea will deliver SPS equipment for the second development of the Kikeh 3B project, including three subsea trees, a manifold, a subsea distribution unit, and integrated control systems, and project management and associated services.

Project execution will run through 2026 and 2027.

Kikeh is Malaysia’s first deepwater oil and gas development and has been in production since 2007 when the first subsea tree manufactured by SLB OneSubsea in Malaysia was deployed.

In October 2025, PTT Exploration and Production Public Co. Ltd. let contracts to SLB OneSubsea to deliver subsea production systems for Alum, Bemban, and Permai deepwater gas fields in Block H and Kikeh field.
