WA Government to support Strike Energy’s gas acceleration strategy

The Western Australian Government has awarded Lead Agency Service to Strike Energy Ltd.’s gas acceleration strategy which involves timely development of Walyering, Ocean Hill, South Erregulla, and West Erregulla gas fields in the state’s North Perth basin.

The award comes from the State Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science, and Innovation. Under the lead agency framework, the department will provide case management for government interfaces and the coordination of approvals across a range of departments allowing Strike to stay on track to deliver gas from the four projects by end-2025.

The aim is to supply competitive, locally produced domestic energy, especially to Western Australia’s mid-west region.
