Westlawn Americas Offshore acquires offshore Peru blocks

Westlawn Americas Offshore LLC acquired a 30% non-operated working interest in the Z-61, Z-62, and Z-63 blocks offshore Peru from Anadarko Peru Ltd., a subsidiary of Occidental Petroleum Corp.

The acquired working interest will provide WAO access to multiple exploration prospects already identified as well as additional future exploration opportunities across the three blocks.

Oxy will remain the operator of the three blocks (35%). Chevron Peru Exploration Ltd. Sucursal Peruana, a subsidiary of Chevron Corp., acquired the remaining 35%.
